Northern River Otter (Lontra canadensis) pups try to subdue large cutthroat trout their mother has caught for them.  At this stage the pups do not have large enough teeth to kill and eat this trout.  Eventually the mother would comeback and eat this fish.  I believe this was a learning experience with a flopping, flipping fish.  Western U.S., summer..
