_H4B2657.jpg Coho Salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch)
Coho or silver salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch) during fall spawning migration trying to jump river falls. Pacific Northwest. October. Wild fish not hatchery fish. The yellow/brown water is from tannin formed by leaves (mostly big leaf maple) decomposing in the river--quite natural in fall.
