ELK bulls lock antlers in a dawn duel for dominance. The battle ended when the bull on the left speared the other deeply in the chest. A nearby harem of cows then followed the victor into the autumn woods. Rocky Mountains..Jasper National Park, Alberta. Canada. (Cervus elaphus).
