Wild wolverine (Gulo gulo) along edge of late melting snowbank/glacier. Northern U.S. Rocky Mountains/Glacier National Park, Montana. October. Wolverines often use snowbanks or the edge of mountain glaciers to cache food for later use. This wolverine spent several minutes exploring the gap between the rock wall and the old snow (most of which time I could not see him).
